Voting Set for April 12-14 for Bedford County’s What’s So Cool About Manufacturing® Video Contest

BEDFORD, PA – The What’s So Cool About Manufacturing® video contest in Bedford County culminates this week when the Viewers Choice Award voting opens Wednesday, April 12. Anyone can participate by watching and choosing their favorite video at BedfordCountyCool.com before voting closes at midnight April 14. Viewers can vote more than once by refreshing the page.

Students in the After 3 program at six Bedford County middle schools created and entered video projects showcasing six local manufacturers. The What’s So Cool About Manufacturing® video contest is helping students learn more about manufacturing careers in their home county and gain skills like teamwork, storytelling, video production and project management.

The Bedford County contest was developed through a partnership between Bedford County Development Association, Bedford County Technical Center (BCTC), and the Bedford County 21st Century Community Learning Center Consortium.
